CWDM (Coarse Wavelength Division Multiplexing) Modules are devices used in optical fiber networks to combine or separate multiple optical signals at different wavelengths on a single fiber, effectively increasing the capacity of the network. CWDM is a form of WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) that uses fewer, wider-spaced wavelengths than Dense Wavelength Division Multiplexing (DWDM), which makes it a cost-effective solution for applications with moderate capacity requirements, like metro networks, access networks, and some data center interconnects.
