Customer requires a 40-channel transmission + protection scheme, 10G 1310nm optical transceiver on the client side. Dense wave transmission is widely used in long distance transmission application, so in the scheme design, DWDM Multiplexer/Demultiplexer is used to design this application scheme. DWDM technology has become popular in recent years due to its high density, high rate and high capacity, and in the future, it will be the core technology of long-distance communication transmission.
In the implementation of the scheme, through the 10G OEO card, the 40-channel business signals on the client side are converted into 40-chanel DWDM signals (C21 ~ C60) on the line side, and multiplex through the AWG. After multiplexing the optical power is amplified by EDFA, and through OLP for line protection. At the opposite end, business communication is carried out through the above inverse process. By using the DWDMrealize the transmission of wavelengths of multiple channels on a pair of fibers, which greatly reduces the resource of fibers and reduces the cost of fiber laying. The EDFA amplifier is used to make up for the lack of long-distance transmission signal strength, and the OLP equipment is integrated to realize the free switching of main and backup fiber, which construct an optical communication network with non-blocking, high reliability, security and flexibility.
